Lancer Dining Services and Lancer Hospitality are owned by company founders Glenn Baron and Steve Craver. Mr. Baron and Mr. Craver have been friends since junior high school and business partners since 1976. Their first enterprise together (not counting shoveling driveways in high school) was creating and running Blue Bell, an ice cream vending company that at one time included 125 ice cream treat trucks that visited Twin Cities parks and neighborhoods during warm summer days.

Lancer Dining Services is the educational food service division of Lancer Hospitality, a well-established Minnesota-based, inter-state hospitality company with corporate offices in Eagan, MN. Lancer Hospitality has a 30+ year history in the food service business.

Terry Mellum is the RDM at the 1255 Trapp Rd. location for Lancer dining services. Terry has over 30yrs of experience in the food service industry with a diverse background in culinary and food service operations. Here at Lancer Terry cultivates and maintain current customer relations while building new business partners by selling the great services we provide. Terry believes that between his management team and front line employees Lancer will continue to offer innovative solutions, more appealing menu selections while meeting MDE nutritional guidelines and great customer service. As Terry continues to build and strengthen Lancer dining services he would like everyone to know that it takes a very special group of talented managers and employees to make our company great and would like recognize there continued efforts in making Lancer dining the best choice for your food and service needs.

Brandon has been with Lancer dining since 2012. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota in 2006 and is in charge of accounts payable and accounts receivable for Lancer Dining. He also codes production software and manages the office staff on numerous projects within LDS. His hobbies include functional ceramics, guitar, and mountain biking.

Ms Perrizo is Lancer Dining’s Account Manager and has been with the company since 2007. She has previously worked in customer service, elementary and high school kitchens, and ran a private child care in her home. Beth enjoys getting to know our customers better by visiting each of our schools and child care centers, getting feedback and answering any questions they may have. She is also in charge of proposals and contract renewals. Beth has an Associate’s Degree in Legal Assisting from Chippewas Valley Technical College and has two sons in college.

Educational Foodservice Production Manager


Sheraye has worked for Lancer Dining since 2009 as the production lead. She is responsible for ensuring the meals for schools and daycares are produced correctly, efficiently and on time to be sent out for delivery every morning. Sheraye has a culinary background and has been working in the food industry for over 11 years. She is also ServSafe certified.
